A few weeks back I travelled to the North coast of Wales to meet Paul & Coral Jones, their daughter April Jones was murdered in October 2012 aged 5. We spent 24 hours in their company and it was amazing to witness their courage.
Paul & Coral have now written a book titled April that gives their account of the experience. Paul & Coral are also campaigning for a law forcing search engines to filter out child pornography.
In autumn 2014 Howard was diagnosed with terminal cancer, so when The Times called up and briefed me with this job I felt honoured. Spending the afternoon at Howard’s flat in Leeds exchanging stories and trying to produce iconic pictures reminded me why I love my job.

Earlier this year Jude shot Russian Golfer Maria Verchenova, a rising star within the female golf tour. Before discovering she could play golf Maria was an accomplished ballet dancer, this gave the direction of the shoot.
